چکیده
Abstract We determine the bottom quark mass $${\hat{m}}_b$$ m ^ b from QCD sum rules of moments vector current correlator calculated in perturbative to $${{\mathcal {O}}} ({\hat{\alpha }}_s^3)$$ O ( α s 3 ) . Our approach is based on mutual consistency across a set where experimental data are required for resonance contributions only. Additional information continuum region can then be used stability tests and assess theoretical uncertainty. find $${\hat{m}}_b({\hat{m}}_b) = (4180.2 \pm 7.9)$$ = 4180.2 ± 7.9 MeV $${\hat{\alpha }}_s(M_Z) 0.1182$$ M Z 0.1182

Light Quark Mass Effects in Bottom Quark Mass Determinations
Recent results for charm quark mass effects in perturbative bottom quark mass determinations from Υ mesons are reviewed. The connection between the behavior of light quark mass corrections and the infrared sensitivity of some bottom quark mass definitions is examined in some detail.
متن کاملBottom Quark Mass from Υ Mesons
The bottom quark pole mass M b is determined using a sum rule which relates the masses and the electronic decay widths of the Υ mesons to large n moments of the vacuum polarization function calculated from nonrelativistic quantum chromodynamics. The complete set of next-to-next-to-leading order (i.e. O(α 2 s , α s v, v 2) where v is the bottom quark c.m. velocity) corrections is calculated and ...
متن کاملBottom Quark Mass and QCD Duality
The mass of the bottom quark is analyzed in the context of QCD finite energy sum rules. In contrast to the conventional approach, we use a large momentum expansion of the QCD correlator including terms to order αs(m 2 b/q ) with the upsilon resonances from ee annihilation data as main input. A stable result mb(mb) = (4.19 ± 0.05) GeV for the bottom quark mass is obtained. This result agrees wit...
